Rules Of The Crossroads
« on: January 24, 2013, 03:15:50 am »
The crossroads is a place where you can go at with each other, about anything pertaining to the game, you can say things like "you're bad at aika" that is fine, and things in that area, but that does not mean you can take things out of context and personally target and attack people.

Article V – Harassments

Section 5.1 Harassment may be considered to be sexual, discriminative, Hateful, or Defamatory in nature. In which case, offenders will be sanctioned. This includes Real life threats to other gamers or employees of T3Fun or violence in any capacity that is not directly related to our games. Sanctions are as follows:

5.1.1 1st Offense: Warning
5.1.2 2nd Offense: 3 Days Forum Suspension
5.1.3 3rd Offense: 7 Days Forum Suspension
5.1.4 4th Offense: Permanent Forum Ban

Just wanted to add a more basic commonly worded explanation of why threads get locked in this forum.

Most of the time it's due to trash talk devolving into flame wars and insults centering on real life issues. In addition, calling out an individual player by name will lead to your post instantly being trashed.

As an example:

It's okay to say, "(insert country name) totally pwned (insert enemy country name) in last night's raid. We absolutely wrecked them with amazing tactics, superior gear and incredible skill."

It is not okay to say, "You are an idiot who enjoys (insert deviant sexual act here)."

Obviously any insult that crosses into the realm of race, religion, sex, etc. is not allowed and will lead to the person who made it getting instantly and permanently banned.

Keep the trash talk focused on game play and your thread won't get locked, your post won't get moved and you won't get punished. Violate that guideline and we will be forced to get involved by locking, trashing and handing out rips. No one wants to do that, but the rules will be followed that's part of why we are here.

Finally, anyone who intentionally tries to get a thread locked/trashed will be dealt with harshly. Don't go out of your way to cross that line because you don't like the subject matter, simply report it and let us do our jobs. We may not agree and nothing may come of your report, so don't assume that just because you report a post your wishes will be followed.

Thanks and hope this helps explain exactly what is and is not allowed in Rhawn Crossroads more clearly.

Edit: I want to add one final point - these are not new rules. I'm just attempting to explain them clearly since there seems to be confusion.
