Remember that the in-game guild emblems only update once every 24 hours during weekdays
so have some patience after re-uploading the emblem.
Also, if you have problems uploading remember that your size of your picture can only be 19x19 pixels.Fixing your invisible guild emblem: Easy Solution:
Open the BMP file -> save as -> save it as a 24bit bmp file instead of 32bit. You can do this even with just paint.Fixing your invisible guild emblem: Advanced Solution:
Open guild icon in photoshop -> channels ->
select alpha 1 ->
paintbucket it white -> save the picture and re-upload it.
Why is this? That's because 32bit BMP files have an additional channel called "alpha channel", the alpha channel tells Aika which parts of the emblem that should be transparent. If you save a picture in 32bit BMP format using photoshop and it doesn't have any alpha channel, then photoshop will make one. However it will be blank, which tells Aika "make this entire picture invisible" and poof no guild emblem.
Which leads us to the next part-Adding transparent parts to your guild emblem:
So you have a guild emblem and you want to make some parts transparent or "invisible". Here's an example: I want to make this
look like this
The whole thing is simple
Load picture -> channels -> alpha channel
(make one by clicking on the marked button if there is no alpha channel)
color the parts you don't
want transparent white, leave transparent parts black on the alpha channel
when you click on RGB eye button it should show a red color over where the transparent parts should be, save your emblem as 32bit BMP with alpha and you're done.
