My definition of skill is the literal definition..

skill [skil]
1.  the ability, coming from one's knowledge, practice, aptitude, etc., to do something well:
Carpentry was one of his many skills.
2.  competent excellence in performance; expertness; dexterity:
The dancers performed with skill.
3.  a craft, trade, or job requiring manual dexterity or special training in which a person has competence and experience:
the skill of cabinetmaking.

I have a Logitech G600, with it came the software to write up commands. I bought the mouse because the second and third row of skills is difficult to reach during pvp. I have the tools necessary to macro, will I do it ? no.

This game is heavily dependent on the gear. The only player involvement in this game is your skills(napalm, charge etc.) and auto attacking. By writing macros you have eliminated the only job you had playing this game. Yea whatever, you still have to know positioning and tactics, that's elementary stuff tho.

So are there people who macro that can be considered "skilled", I believe not. The only determinant of skill(fighting) is replaced by a macro. You can argue all you want about the "tactic" side needing some skill. But really that is "knowledge" of how the game works, not really skill.

I don't macro because it would make the game as boring as it is now. I really have nothing against people who macro, go right ahead. I just don't understand .... why? Its a Player versus Player game. By using macros you have given up the tittle "player", you are not playing.... you are spectating. the Macro is doing all your work.

Im not ranting, this is a simple opinion, keep macroing, ill keep respawning.

Well that pretty much sums up most everything I could say about my personal feelings on the issue. Thank you captainneo.

Would be funny to see what happens if they updated xtrap to include all macro programme including those that come with gaming mice and keyboards.

The reason we haven't should be quite apparent; Doing so would prevent players from accessing the game simply because they owned a specific keyboard or mouse regardless of whether or not they used it's macro functions.

Would be funny to see if they fix anni cancle glitch.I'd like to see then how WRs and DGs will play.

The ability to ani-cancel is not a glitch; it's a byproduct of how the game, and many games of this type, are programmed.

Well never figured misan would be one of the anti-macro fanatics. I explained but apparently its impossible to comprehend. Anyways interested in the video skip. ^^

I have both personal and professional opinions when it comes to macros; not sure why that would be surprising to anyone.

Should get back on topic though.. feel free to create a pro/anti macro topic.

Typing `time in normal chat will display the server time. You can paste to paint at that point knowing your screenshot contains an acceptable time stamp.

googled the code and others saying its to do with sandboxie, so remove sandboxie or stop it starting up when you try playing the game

That would do it too.. I started up C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\SbieSvc.exe and got the same code.
Going into Services stopping and disabling Sandboxie Service fixes the issue.

I've seen this occur on occasion.. kinda hard to miss when it happens. While I do think its a graphics glitch I'll have our staff look into it just to be certain.

1. Players becoming less and less, we all know how boring it will be if we playing AIKA like playing a console game.
2. Servers stability, during this month, I had experienced more than 5 times server problems: login problem, AH problem, Mailbox and so on.
3. Contract validity, i think this's the most important, how long time will T3 continously cooperating with Korean AIKA developer.
4. Hacker. Actually I didn't see hacker so far here, but I know in Taiwan there's few disgusting players do using some speed up software. I think these kind of hacker is really crucial to a game and must be forbidened.

I dont know whether T3 have solution with these questions, at least I hope so.

Anyway, what's your opinion on is it worth to spend money on AIKA now?

1. Players come and go. Around this time of the year a large % of players are returning to school and so the #'s drop for a time.
2. The server issues are a relatively new occurrence. Our technical and development teams are addressing the issue.
3. T3Entertainment owns Hanbitsoft; i.e. We are dev run.
4. We take all forms of questionable gameplay seriously.

As with any form of entertainment its value is dependent on the individual.. if you feel its worth spending money on then I would say go for it; if not thats ok too.

General Discussion / Re: Aitans who are "Quitting"...

I doubt I would go as far as to ban characters.. If someone wants to give their character away or sell it for in game currency that is within their right.
The policy i've been considering would simply prohibit "quitting" topics in the marketplace.

Usually "tcoins" have nothing to do with aika/t3fun currency. That should give you a hint  :-X

I've said it before, but I really think GMs should monitor the Universal Marketplace and watch anyone who lists a "quitting sale".
GMs will be able to see the seller trade their "quitting sale" items to the buyer with nothing being traded back to the seller.
It would simply look like the seller is giving away their "quitting sale" items away for free in game.
At that point GMs have all the proof they need to lay down the ban hammer.

I've been seriously considering it.
