im not at home to check, did they rollback everything or only forums??

My guess would be that someone installed an old backup of the forum.

I like their UI.

^ This.

Their hotkeys don't poke up into the screen nearly as much as our 4 tiered hotkeys do.

Yup. I really do like their UI.. its just clean looking. Maybe if enough people like the JP UI we can ask the GM about changing ours.

To the inbred moderator that's deleting my posts in this thread: please note that this is the Feonir forums.

I have the right to shoo away outtelligent Vanov scum like Timo, who hypocritically misused "whom" and inserted an unnecessary comma in a desperate outtelligent attempt to make fun of someone else's grammar and "unintelligent insulting".

Your 'rights' are listed in the forum guidelines.

Things like:

2.1.2 NOT to post any material that violates or infringes anyone's intellectual property rights (including copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, publicity rights) or that is obscene, defamatory, racist, violent, harassing, profane, in reference of sexual acts or otherwise objectionable.

Sometimes OS updates can change your system settings as well. After any OS update it is recommended to check your settings to make sure they're optimal for running Aika.

I recommend a high performance power plan. Wireless adapter settings should be set to high performance to turn off power saving.
Graphics power plan should be set to high performance. Processor power management should be maxed. Also if you have the ability to un-park cores that helps (unused cores are put in a sleep mode and going into/coming out of can contribute to lag).

True. No one idea or implementation will solve all the issues. I was mainly trying to think of a way to scale up the relics to a true 90 cap value while giving them all more potential worth across the board. I also think it would be more interesting to allow players to somewhat custom design a relics abilities rather than just redesign and throw out static relics.  Maybe not one of my best ideas but there could be something of value in there.

I would almost rather see the duplicate relics merged into a single relic with the effect of both and replace the duplicates with new unique relics with updated effects. (ie. 1 sword, hp, etc.) but that would create more issues i think.

Want to make all relics better? Want them all to have universal value?  Allow nations to enchant them with 1 additional status effect upon reaching lvl 3 (chosen from an approved list). Same mechanics would be used as in upgrading relics.  Also if nations could add 1 additional enchant  to a level 3 relic they would be less inclined to break relics.

Examples
lvl 2 pdef -> lvl 3 pdef + pdef piercing.
lvl 2 hp -> lvl  3 hp + increased regen.

I believe skulls should be permanent. There is little point in having a dedicated skull shop if the mats required to purchase anything from it are rarely in game.

Another possible reason for a transaction to be declined is the name registered to the account does not match the name of the card holder (Credit/debit).

Hmmmmmmm............Geeeeetttiiiinnnng.... a bit warmer. Although, Eien and I don't have the same age, I have the same age as another GM. XD

It's possible that i'm older than each of the GM individually. Not sure how I feel about that.. :-\

My quote of the Management Policy were not meant to prove that "Blah Blah relic stuff QQ ban him QQ". It was merely a statement of what the support team work with at the moment. Section 7.5 defines relic stuffing and does not specify any kind of sanctions on it. That is the reason why many people who are known to "Stuff relics" are not banned/suspended. However I suggested a change to these rules to include a term called "Alt Capping" that SHOULD have a proper sanction on it. I defined Alt Capping as: "Alt Capping is the act of pulling a relic or capping it or both in the temple of a hostile nation by the use of an alt in that nation, with the intention of freeing a temple slot in your own nation to cap better relics in there or to harass the citizens of that particular hostile nation."
I do not know if that is still happening atm (Since last time I logged into the game was yesterday for an hour or so, and before that was over 2 weeks ago) yet I still believe it should be included in the Management Policy. However GMs are yet to take a decision about it.
In short, I agree with relic stuffing not being bannable (However I disagree with relics being broken, I'd think it would be a better idea to move any "Stuffed" relic into the nation with the 5th ranking that week. To make it more fair those relics can go into the closed slots of tab/algon/kynari respectively and they would stay there until removed by a hostile nation).
This should be considered though

When writing the rule I did not see the need to specify 'alt capping' as I believe it is covered already under 'stuffing'. If someone is using an alt to cap a relic in a hostile nation it is usually with the intent to harass that nation. I did not write any sanctions in to 7.5 as I felt that would best be left to the discretion of the GM. I believe each reported/verified violation is being handled on a case by case basis. I have no objection to altering the rule to include clearly defined min/max sanctions if that is what the community would like.

Technical Issues / Re: Account not found happens twice this day!

Try this.

Unfortunately, some of the accounts can log-in, some cannot. We performed series of testing with different computers and accounts and this is what we came up with:

1. Go to your AIKA folder
2. Open config.txt
3. Subtract 1 from the current version (for example: from [version] 497, edit it to [version] 496)
4. Save the text file
5. Run the client launcher again

This will re-patch your client manually and should fix the issue temporarily.

Kindly inform us if you still get the "Account not found" error.

Thanks.
