Apparently Bulldozer spent a ridiculous amount on that event to get every enchant maxed. IMO seems fishy that anyone would drop 75k usd on a video game, prolly used hacked/glitched in gold bars to spam the event, isn't the reason why they removed GBs because people found a way to hack them in? Who knows how long people have been able to do it...

Be nice if they added these to the VCS boxes during escort phase. Makes sense your fighting zereka's forces and getting his coins?

Rhawn Crossroads / Re: Dear Players, We must come together!

T3fun's greed has already and will continue to destroy the game. Stop participating in their lucky shop events, no matter how much gear, enchants and upgrades they offer, boycott their scams and they will change their ways*. If they see that these events no longer generate sufficient income they will look for alternatives and maybe consider improving the game's economy. Right now its pay2win no matter what, any new player has to invest in the events or buy a set from another player to be relevant at all in pvp.

This pay2win mindset causes most players to be toxic to others and not help new players that don't just throw money at the game, partly because it is far too difficult to actually farm for decent gear, even if you already have it. A full 12 player farming for 8 hrs a day can barely make $5 worth of gold, if you are really lucky.

As for the hacking issue, that has always been a plague on the game, the staff refuse to update or change their anti-hack provider, there are other options than Xcrap. Those who do hack are really just bad players who need to cheat to gain an advantage over others. Not to mention the staff doing absolutely nothing when you give them solid evidence that somebody is hacking.

Personally I say let the game die, its past the point of no return, there is no saving aika from its fate. It's had its time, and they were some good times with some amazing people, but its time to move on...

Nice sentiment MiaTsunami, but it won't change a thing.

*The lucky shop events are what's known as "Cash Cows", they milk these events as much as they can, steadily increasing the rewards so people keep on buying them, the removal of gold bars timed with the christmas event ensures that people top up the amount required. To them they are just selling pixels, people need to wake up and realize they are just being milked for their cash and getting nothing in return, you do not even own those pixels, they are just allowing you to use them, they are well within their rights to take them away at any time with no refunds, this includes shutting the game down, being banned etc.

Why do people keep asking for updates, fixes and events? Nothing you say or do will make the staff do anything different than they have planned. The only thing they'll keep doing is milking the idiots who still spend money on this dead and broken game, stop wasting your time on aika and find something new.

Recolor a set that would take 1~2 hrs and sell it for $10 a pop? Too hard to do.

If t3fail had half a brain they'd put more effort into cosmetics, they're a huge portion of sales for many other MMO games, yet they'd prefer to sell gear, enchants and plusses to imbalance the game and make it fully pay2win.

A change to the core gameplay of this type would require a lot of development time, not to mention the Aika NA staff don't actually develop anything, they just copy -> translate -> paste the patches from Hanbitsoft. If this type of change were to be implemented it would be done on KAika first.
Also the game is in its dying phase, any more money put into development would just be a waste if its not a feature that directly generates revenue, for instance the scam events are just cash cows to milk the game as much as they can before it dies.

There are hundreds of ways they can improve the gameplay and performance of the game overall. Farming is generally a dead end, hours upon hours of farming for pocket change, the drop rate is garbage because it got nerfed into the ground due to botters. The time it takes to level up is not bad when you consider auto grind, but even then they could have auto grind give less exp and reward people who manually grind with a much higher exp rate.

Overall the game is borderline dead, t3fun won't spend money unless they're going to make money.

The T3fun staff never have or will give a crap about their players suggestions or opinions, I have yet to see one thing that a player suggested on the forum be implemented into the game*.

Most topics get locked because they turn into flame wars instead of actual discussions, The playerbase isn't exactly friendly around here...

*Most likely due to them not actually owning the game, they buy the rights to publish the game from hanbitsoft.

Technical Issues / Re: aika ate my laptop
« on: November 15, 2017, 03:37:33 pm »
That's aika telling you to quit the game.

Try reinstalling the game.
Try updating your graphics drivers

If that doesn't work,
Depending on your operating system, windows 8/10 can do a reset of the OS through settings, which leaves all your files intact, you could try that.
Else back up your stuff, wipe your hard drive and reinstall windows.
(If that still doesn't fix it you prolly have a hardware problem)

As for major DC issues, try using a ethernet cable to connect rather than WiFi.

The staff will apparently assist players with direct transfers of sets for tcoins. Both parties send a ticket with the details of the trade and they check both sides for illegal items then complete the trade.
Prolly make a ton of work for the staff, but what else they gonna do besides turning the server off and back on again once a week?

Oh look they did it again, yet another person whacked with a banhammer who did nothing wrong.
Hopefully the new measures put in place for trading through ticket system will cut down on people being banned for receiving illegal items.

IMO Screw T3Fun, they killed the game with scam boxes and lucky shop events. All they're doing is milking the game while they can. Stop spending money on pixels in a dead game, atleast give your money to a company who actually cares and actively develops their games.

GL negotiating with them to get your stuff back, like talking to a brick wall.
